In addition to his ministry in the church, Pastor Ray is active in the Lake County Ministerial Association, Bible Studies at Warner Creek Correctional Facility and Lake County Mental Health Advisory Board. Recreational interests include hiking, walking, photography and people.

In addition to helping Ray with the ministry in the church, Sue works as a Library Manager at Lakeview High School. To help fill in her "spare time" Sue is pursuing a BA in Christian Education through Nazarene Bible College via their on-line program.

Their daughter Rachael graduated from Lakeview High School in 2005 and is currently attending Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. She plans on pursing a journalism/writing path.

Their son Joshua now resides in Eugene, Oregon.

Pastor Ray and Sue Finch have been the pastoral family in Lakeview since late January, 2004. Both Ray and Sue were raised in the Eagle Point, Oregon area and have strong roots in rural life. They bring to Lakeview the experience they gained in over 16 years ministering to the community of Madras, Oregon. Pastor Ray and Sue each seek to be involved in the community life of Lakeview in their own ways. They see ministry as being involved in the lives of people.
